MICKEY

The one and only, Mickey De! Also widely referred to as Mac Bunnard. She is known for her showstopping appearance all around the paracosm, but also infamous for her conceited attitude. Behind the scenes, she lives in a broken down van with her girlfriend and a mysteriously cat shaped entity.

She is a huge fan of Robert Crumb’s work, specifically his comic Fritz the Cat!

“Mickey has come a long way with her development. She was originally the design I had for Rosalind, but after a while she has become her own person. She is probably the most politically incorrect character in the paracosm and struggles with Narcissistic Personality Disorder. Despite this, she has people who care about her and want to help her grow as a person. I would like to see her grow as well over time.” — Ophelia le fay

FRANTZY

Frantzy is the fellow companion of Samar. They are a descendant of fellow Haitian revolutionaries who revolted against French colonial rule and liberated themselves through violent decolonization. Due to similar history, Frantzy and Samar get along pretty well. You can find them just about anywhere with their furry pal Doudou.Their interests include revolutionary politics, Hennessy, and Haitian history.

Frantzy has a condition called Cerebral Visual Impairment (CVI) and cannot see anything below eye level.

“A few months before Frantzy’s design was officially developed, I saw them making a cinematic runway across the paracosm with Samar and a few other paras (that I still have yet to get to). I was able to capture them exactly as they appeared in the paracosm (although their design is pretty simple). The only difference now is that they have a young puppy to guide them. They’re very likable, I’m hoping the people will like them too.” — Ophelia Le Fay

SAMAR

Samar is the eldest daughter of the El-Wakil family. She is an indigenous Palestinian from Jaffa, who attained martyrdom after resisting her oppressors through armed struggle. She is known for her firm principles and unwavering faith in Islam.

She has five cats named Salaam, Kohl, Muhammad, Ai'sha, and Humaira.

“Samar first appeared in the paracosm wearing traditional kuffiyeh masks after I attended a pro-Palestinian protest, but after a few months into her development she found her own style. Samar is still very new in her development, and I have made some mistakes along the way, but with collective help I hope to fully flesh out her character. She is very demure, very mindful. I hope that the people will like her just as much as I do.” — Ophelia Le Fay
